AI Laboratory for simulation of IoT devicesAccess to the Laboratory for simulation of Internet of Things devices. It is a laboratory that allows simulating different environments of IoT devices where AI is deployed. The objective is, by means of a small number of computers, to simulate several devices with heterogeneous capacities and to implement some protocols, simulating attacks. And in this line, being able to have tools to validate the security solutions deployed, such as encryption algorithms, Artificial Intelligence techniques at the service of privacy protection such as federated learning, or advanced user behaviour analysis (UEBA). 2. Tool for the design of virtual experiences and a computing cloud to offer virtual reality as an VRaaS service to obtain high-quality solutions in reduced time and cost. 3. Team specialized in source code optimization, queries, message passing, web loading and rendering, etc. Containment and planning of cloud computing consumption.
Laboratorio y Área de Experimentación en Tecnologías en Proyectos de IA y RobóticaInstalaciones para el ensayo de actividades de investigación en diferentes áreas. UMA: Para proyectos de IA, redes LTE-5G, Smart Grid, infraestructuras blockchain para pruebas y experimentación con tecnologías digitales (tanto software como hardware), infraestructuras específicas para pruebas de Big Data Analytics, etc. Robótica: 90.000 m2 para pruebas y benchmarking consistentes en entornos no estructurados al aire libre, con terrenos de diferentes dificultades de acceso, que se utilizan para actividades de investigación en robótica móvil y laboratorio especializado en desarrollos de robótica quirúrgica. USE: bancos de pruebas de 20x15x7 m con seguimiento de movimiento y precisión milimétrica (uno de los mayores de Europa) y varios bancos de pruebas al aire libre.
Support to develop test environments
FADA-CATEC manages ATLAS which is a test flight centre located in Villacarrillo, Jaen, Spain. It is specially designed for light and small UAS/RPAS operations. It counts with 1000 Km2 of segregated airspace until 5000 ft. available jointly with a main runaway of 600 m and auxiliary one of 400 m. Telemetry and primary surveillance radar facilities are available. Along with a suited orography and climatology enabling more than 300 day a year for operations.
